What is the average buyers per 100 visits for a mediocre website?

Is it safe to say 1 per 100 will probably buy something or is it more like 1 per 1000? I'm not talking about a great well established website, i'm talking about a new average/slightly below average website.|||1-4%|||There is no "average". What are you selling? How is it priced?
