Whats the difference between simple average and weighted average in High school report cards?

which one is worth more? a 93.30% SIMPLE AVERAGE or a 92.89 WEIGHTED average?|||simple average is points earned divided by all possible points.


weighted average means different assignments like homework and tests are worth a different part of you grade. Like homework is only worth 10%, but tests are worth 40%. A simple average is worth more, because with a weighted average you can skip some homework but make up for it by doing good on the tests.
