A radio transmitter in space transmits isotropically with an average power of 170 kW. What is the average magnitude of the poynting vector 14 miles from the radio transmitter?
Answer in units of W/m^2.
I read the section on Poynting vectors twice but I haven't begun to figure out how to solve this.. Please help!|||S= P/ ( 4*pi*distance^2)
Power = 170x10^3
Distance = 14 miles * 1609 = 22526m
S = 170x10^3 / (4 * pi * 22526^2 ) is the answer in W/m^2

What is the average time for a virgin to have sex?
What is the average time for a male virgin to have sex for, before he cums? Some of my friends said up to 3minutes. Does it matter on the size? If so, give me like an average time for like all sizes. I'm 14.|||This all depends on how hard your going, and by who you are, the size doesn't matter at all.|||It really depends on the individual. My first time, I was so nervous I couldnt ***. Only after a few times I started to loosen up and relax enough.
|||we don't know. this kind of information isn't exactly available nor is it ever investigated|||depends on the individual|||2minutes|||5 mins|||I lasted maybe 2 minutes my first time.

Moving Averages of stocks-how do you determine which moving average is most important?
When a security is analyzed or forecasted by moving averages how do "you" determine which duration of moving average is MOST important for your security? 10 day? 20 day? 50-100 day moving averages?|||I like the 50 day moving average.
It's a matter of personal comfort. A shorter MA will get me in sooner, but will give me more false signals. A longer MA reduces false signals, but makes me miss more of the beginning of the move.|||Someone made a a lot of backtests with different timewindows for moving averages, maybe interesting: http://www.smatrader.com

What is the average calorie intake requirement for males?
I know the average for women is 2000. And I know it varies depending on a lot of things. But I just want to know the average calorie intake requirement for a regular male. Thanks!|||about 2500 calories
What is the average for kids getting out of bed during the summer break?
Since school ended, i'be been sleepng longer, but my parents still get me up around 7. I call some f my friends and they all stay asleep till around 12 noon, whats the average time for staying in bed? So qi've averaged and i get up around 7 am.|||I go to sleep at 2:30AM and I wake up at 10:15AM or 10:30AM usually, but I set my phone alarm. I'm usually tired, and if I can I sleep till 12:00PM. Why do your parents wake you up at 7, anyways?! To practice for school or something?|||Idk, I wake up at 5 am most mornings. I'm 17 and a rising senior. Don't worry about waking up your friends who can't get their butts out of bed before 9. Sleeping late chronically after going to bed at a reasonable hour is a sign of ill-discipline. Sorry to be so blunt.
When I call up my friends, they're usually up by 10.|||Between the ages of 5 and 8, kids generally need 10 to 12 hours of sleep a night, and all but a few have given up naps. Most children this age go to bed between 7:30 and 9 p.m. and get up between 6:30 and 8 a.m. Once your child starts school, especially if he's switching from half- to full days, you may find that he actually needs more sleep and is ready to go to bed earlier than he did when he was younger. What's more, not getting enough sleep can have a major impact on your child's daytime behavior and school performance.|||i know that most people i know go to bed around 3 and sleep at least till ten but usaully 11
i go to bed 1030-1130 and i used to get at 9 but all of a sudden i just naturally get up at 7 idk why though
if u have nothing to do why do ur parents want u up thats just stupid in my opinion
average time to go to sleep is 11-1 and time to wake up is 1-2|||Well I was getting u at about 10, but I have been staying up late reading and talking to my boyfriend, so I don't wake up til 12, which in turn makes me not be able to sleep til 2, making me wake up at 12 again|||why do they wake you up? ask them why cause that is ridicoulous. its summer. i normally go to bed fro midnight to about 3 am and might wake up at 9 30 to 11|||depends what time you go to bed. i go to bed at around 1 and i wake up at around 10.|||i wake up at abut 10 am sometimes 11:00 11:30|||depends 9 to 1|||i go to bed around 3:30 am and wake up at noon,|||I would say 10:30 but my mom didn't work.
I would let my kids sleep as long as they needed...silence is golden!

Whats the difference between simple average and weighted average in High school report cards?
which one is worth more? a 93.30% SIMPLE AVERAGE or a 92.89 WEIGHTED average?|||simple average is points earned divided by all possible points.
weighted average means different assignments like homework and tests are worth a different part of you grade. Like homework is only worth 10%, but tests are worth 40%. A simple average is worth more, because with a weighted average you can skip some homework but make up for it by doing good on the tests.

What was the average survival time of a soldier in world war 2? What about officers?
Just had a friend tell me that his grandfather still has his officer papers from world war 2. He said that on the papers the average survival time of an officer in a battle was about 1:30 seconds. I was wondering if there was some truth to this and if so then what would be the average survival time of a soldier in battle.|||it's completely false. And there is not mean survival time in battle, only survival time per front. Getting an average survival time of a soldier in battle is impossible because it would involve standing on a battlefield taking controls, and the fact that one solder may live throght the entire battle, and another may die in the first 10min. On top of which, most major battles in world war 2 lasted several years, not hours or minutes.|||Well, it depends on where you fought. In taking the pacific islands, the marines suffered horiible casualties. However as far as survival in battle if an average could be identified, then it would be a lot longer as even in the most heated battles, that often lasted for days on end, way more than half survived. The question is very vague. In Iraq or afghanistan the average survival time would be very high, as less than ten percent of an infantry unit usually dies, and they are involved in several battles usually. There are way too many variables. What kind of battle. What is the size of the opposing force, their equipment. do they have heavy artillery'? Where are you at? if you are in the desert, and they have helicopters the survival time would be very short. Be more specific.|||Well during the battle of Stalingrad the average life of a rifleman was a week
