What is the average cost of surgical treatment for cherry eye?

My 7 year of jack russel/beagle mix just developed cherry eye. What is the average cost to get this corrected properly? Was also wondering the average recovery time?We adopted him 6 years ago from the local animal shelter and sometimes he is a little skidish still. I worry about how he may act after something like that. Thanks to all ahead of time.|||In louisiana its around 150-200 it really depends on your vet. But if Im not mistaken recovery is about 1-2 wks.|||It maybe a little higher than the average cost because your dog is a senior. They might want to run a full blood panel and other tests to make sure he's healthy enough for surgery.|||Six hundred plus for everything from consult to final recheck, lab tests, meds, etc.
