How much average debt does the average Pediatrician get in?

After all of the college learning, medical school, residency, etc. What is the average debt for the Pediatrician? And how much do they make?|||Well...that depends on where you went to college (state universities cost much less than private universities), how much you received in financial aid (loans you must pay back vs grants and scholarships), the cost of what medical school you attended (again.....how you paid for medical school) and as far as residencies....you get paid when you are a resident (usually around $40,000-60,000 a year). So, see what the cost is for 4 years at one of your state universities and at a Med School you'd like to attend. You should have a decent idea of what kind of financial aid you'll be receiving (those school websites have links to financial aid on them). Then, figure in the 3-4 years of residency salary and you should have a broad, general idea of what you are looking at as far as debt. I will say that Peditricians and Family Practice MDs are the lowest paid of MDs......averaging around $100-130K a year.
